Set Box Jamaica (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides delivery of fresh Jamaican meal boxes across the UK.


This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how and when orders are delivered, including delivery fees, timeframes, and responsibilities.

1. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver to: UK-wide

2. Delivery Fees

​

1 Day Box: £5.99

7 Day Subscription: £5.99 per weekly delivery

Monthly Subscription: £23.95 per monthly delivery

Delivery fees are added at checkout and included in your subscription payment schedule.

3. Delivery Schedule

​

Delivery dates depend on the type of box ordered:

​

✔ 1 Day Box (Non-Subscription)

Delivered on the date selected at checkout.

​

✔ 7 Day Subscription (Weekly)

Your delivery will occur on the same day each week, based on the subscription start date.

​

✔ Monthly Subscription

Your monthly box will be delivered on the same week each month, based on your chosen start date.

Customers choose their preferred first delivery date during the meal selection form process.

4. Meal Selection Deadline

​

For subscription customers:

​

  • Meals must be selected before your delivery cut-off time

  • If you do not submit your selections in time, Set Box Jamaica may:

    • send a default chef-selected menu

    • or delay delivery to the next available date

​

This will depend on ingredient availability and kitchen scheduling.

5. Delivery Process

​

Your meals will be delivered to the address provided during checkout or in the meal selection form.

​

Delivery includes:

​

  • Fresh, pre-measured ingredients

  • Packaging suitable for safe transport

  • Instructions for your selected dishes

​

Delivery Notes:


Customers may provide instructions such as:

​

  • Gate codes

  • Safe place locations

  • Building names

  • “Leave with neighbour”

​

Drivers will follow these notes whenever possible.

​

6. Failed Delivery Attempts

​

If the courier attempts delivery and cannot access the property, the driver may:

  1. Leave the parcel in a safe place

  2. Leave the parcel with a neighbour

  3. Attempt delivery again (depending on location)

Important:


Because food products are perishable, we cannot return or re-ship boxes once delivered or attempted.

​

Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available at the delivery address or that safe-place instructions are provided.

​

7. Perishable Goods Disclaimer

​

All boxes contain fresh food items and must be refrigerated promptly.

​

Set Box Jamaica is not responsible for spoilage after:

  • successful delivery

  • delivery to a safe place

  • delays caused by incorrect addresses

  • delays caused by the customer not being available

​

8. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

​

If the customer enters an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • Delivery may fail

  • The box may not be recoverable (due to food safety)

  • No refund is offered for delivery failures caused by incorrect customer information

​

Please ensure your address is accurate and complete, including postcode.

​

9. Delivery Delays

​

While we aim to deliver on the scheduled date, delays may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Courier delays

  • Supply availability

  • High-volume periods

​

If a delay occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible.

​
